Pastors Stephen & Shawn Parker

Pastors Stephen & Shawn Parker have been married for 20 years and they are the proud parents of their fourteen year old son Samuel. The two of them have been faithful in their commitment to serve and labor in the vineyard. They have learned the importance of "Striving for Excellence" in ministry, under the tutelage of their Pastor and mentor Dr. Doris G. Huff, D.Min., Senior Pastor and founder of New Vision Sanctuary of Praise (previously named Yoshua Ministries). Accepting his call to ministry in 1998, Pastor Stephen served as associate minister until receiving his Eldership in 2008. Pastor Stephen then served as youth pastor until 2010 when he was installed as Assistant Pastor. Pastor Shawn served as worship leader and worked with Pastor Stephen with the youth. Serving faithfully the Parker’s followed the leading of the Holy Spirit and with much prayer and fasting planted a new ministry with the approval of their Pastor. In 2014 they launched The Sanctuary Church, Inc. with the approval of their pastor. Both Pastors Stephen & Shawn believe in education both biblical and secular. Pastor Stephen graduated from Bryant and Stratton College Cum Laude with A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies.Pastor Shawn graduated from Bryant and Stratton College with an A.A.S. Accounting. Pastors Stephen & Shawn believe that the heartbeat of any ministry should be lost souls. They are fervent in their commitment to excellence in ministry and ministering to the total person: Spirit, Soul and Body! Their affirmation of truth for the body of Christ is; "Remember Jesus came that you might live a More Abundant Life! Live in your Abundance Today!" ~ John 10:10
